Khatiwada (alternatively spelled Khatiwoda) is a family name belonging to the Brahmin Varna. People with this family name are spread out across the country, with distribution ranging from Bhaktapur in the Kathmandu Valley to Doti in the far west and Jhapa in eastern Nepal. Khatiwada is also a village development committee in Doti District in the Seti Zone of western Nepal.
